Art Park Workday!

Detroit Summer is having a workday at the Art Park (Poplar and Lawton, across from Catherine Ferguson Academy) this Saturday, June 2, from 4-8pm. We’ll be planting flowers, fixing the cement sculptures/seating, and installing a mural or a few to get the park ready for our sustainer-fundraising dinner on June 16th, 6-10pm. More info on that coming soon! Come ready to get dirty, learn some Detroit Summer history, and hang out with the Detroit Summer family. Please rsvp to anniversary@detroitsummer.org if you plan on coming to the workday this Sat. We’ll get you a sandwich :)
